Hailing from Somerset, Lee Kirby, known as 3rdEye, has been painting in the art world since the late eighties. He draws his inspiration from the explosive culture of graffiti art and was influenced by legendary comic artists like Vaughn Bode.

Lee trained in photography in Leicester where he used his skills to create artworks by painting walls, boards, warehouses, and leading workshops with young people.

After travelling to India, he moved to Bristol where he continued to explore new avenues in graffiti art. Lee collaborated with Bristol street artists and illustrators to develop his projects and skills.

Lee now lives near Stroud in Gloucestershire and his work has evolved from conventional graffiti to include geometric shapes, organic and symmetrical forms, and is trademark characters. Lee’s creations are colourful, vibrant, boisterous and playful.
