Carole Lane, who works under “A Tale to Tell”, chose this fitting name as the majority of items that she uses have all had a previous life. Many items would be doomed to the waste bin but she uses as much as she can to create new art pieces, that can be looked at and loved for many years.Carole was trained as a textiles artist, but became besotted with mosaic work after she helped out with her daughters class art project in primary school, 22 years ago. The project was being run by Cleo Mussi, who is a wonderful well known local mosaic artist, who incidentally also trained as a textiles artist!Carole loves creating pieces, all vary in size, from tiny birds about 20 cm to complete walls 3mx5m! Each piece is unique, and each has a story woven in its soul, every piece has a tale to tell.
