With views from Gloucester Cathedral and the Malverns to the Severn and the Welsh Hills, our cafe is a great place to meet and relax.  We have a spacious layout in place and the safety measures you would expect!

Palate pleasing dishes with vegetarian and vegan options, freshly made on site using ethically sourced and local produce where possible. Organic and vegan beers and ciders from Stroud Brewery and Dunkertons and wines from Woodchester Vineyards.

An umami filled veggie patty made by us from a mix of British grown grains, mushroom and walnuts, with cheese, kimchi mayonnaise, red onion and lettuce in a Salt Bakehouse burger bun. Served with fries and a salad of fresh leaves, seasonal slaw and pickles.

A Lebanese moussaka – grilled aubergine, courgette and chickpea bake with tahini sauce, served with pitta.

We offer a wide and ever changing range of cakes from the ubiquitous brownie to our marvellous Pistachio, Polenta & Rose cake.

Salt Bakehouse deliver our croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins and cruffins daily from their Stonehouse Bakery.

Espresso is supplied by Extract Coffee and is hand roasted in Bristol.  Beans are sourced ethically and responsibly from farmers around the world.  We serve our coffee at approximately 65℃ for best taste. 

Teas are supplied by Jenier who are a family run business based in Scotland and the rather more local specialist blender Mr Tea’s Teas – based in Wotton-under Edge!

The Kitchen

Dishes are freshly cooked in our main kitchen which is situated in the cafe. We have another kitchen around the back where we bake our cakes and prepare our menu.

Our aim is to provide palate pleasing and healthy dishes with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options ALL freshly made on site using ethically sourced produce, local where possible.

We love vegetarian food and always aim to offer a good range of tasty and healthy vegan and vegetarian dishes and options.
