Chef de Partie

£20,000 – £23,000 a year pro rata
Permanent, full or part-time. No split shifts or evenings.
Immediate start available but not essential
We are looking for a Chef de Partie for
our 80 cover café and deli.
Leaf & Ground is an exciting, ambitious and refreshing
food, garden and countryside business offering our customers a unique
experience in a stunning Cotswold location.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing
food efficiently and consistently to specification.
Bring your knowledge and enthusiasm for food into everything you do
Prepare food to the required standards and specification as set by the Head
Chef / Sous Chef
Maintain full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production
and presentation standards
Work quickly and efficiently whilst minimising waste
Ensure that you are always smart, professional and courteous when in the open
Ensure that all kitchen work surfaces, walls, floors, pipes, sinks,
refrigerators, freezers and appliances are kept impeccably clean
Comply with Food Hygiene, Fire and Health & Safety regulations
and perform your duties safely
The above duties are not exhaustive and, from time to time, you may be required
to perform other functions
6 months’ experience in a busy, well organised, cook to
High standard of food preparation
Proactive and calm under pressure
Effective organisation and time management skills
Fully aware of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
Enjoy working as part of a team
