Warwickshire Drooper is an old favourite. Always crops regular large, oval-shaped yellow fruits that are streaked green, have speckled red dots and are covered in white bloom. Flesh is bright yellow, moderately sweet and very juicy; good for eating fresh from the tree. They are also delicious when cooked into cakes, crumbles and jams. The tree itself has a spreading, drooping habit from which it was named. Attractive white blossom arrives during the spring followed by large, oval shaped twisted leaves.
